Identifying the principles of safety and protection in bedding and coating

1. Dust and excess mortar should be thoroughly removed from the surface beneath the coating.
2. If the surface beneath the coating has seams, the seams should be cleaned and a suitable surface for connecting to the coating should be created.
3. When coating, make sure the bottom surface is completely wet and that the entire spacing is coated.
4. If the wall or ceiling coating is insulated, it should be covered with a layer of wire mesh.
5. Before the final hardening, the surface of the coating should be scratched by drawing lines in order to better connect to the surface.
6. When applying the top layer coating, make sure that the coating layer is completely hardened and that the surface is moistened with water.

The surface of the coating should be completely smooth and without waves, with an unevenness of no more than 2 mm when measured with a 3-meter screed

1. It is best to avoid freezing and drying the coating quickly before it has completely hardened.
2. The bottom surface should be completely adhered to the coating. Cracked coating parts, the emptiness of which can be detected by tapping, are unacceptable and must be removed and repaired.
3. The coated surface must be protected from damage. Repairing damaged parts, as well as efflorescence, spalling, swelling, staining, and loosening, should be done so that the repaired parts are completely the same color as the surrounding parts and have a flat joint.
